Ethics is defined as the discipline of dealing with what is good and bad and with moral duty and obligation. This obligation makes us realize and more responsible enough in taking a certain action especially when it talks about information technology.
In order for me to be conscious in using properly the technology, I should think first of what are the possible positive and negative effect that may bring with this. In using of this technology, does it give me an idea to enhance more my abilities especially my intellectual skills or even develop my moral responsibilities. If it is so, then these things will lead me to do good deed by the use of technology such us sharing insights, information or even opinion towards a certain issue that may help other people but one thing should be consider also that I need to think my own health especially when I am using the computer.
Since I am the one who is encoding some insights I am also reliable or accountable in every word that I am using especially when giving some opinion in a particular issue.
That is why, it is really important to think first before doing such action to avoid unnecessary reaction from the other person.
